I noticed this on a friend’s blog, and decided to give it a try. Just FYI, you don’t have to have a blogger account to leave a comment–I’m pretty sure you can do it anonymously.

1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew/know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Well, it’s not a memory of us together, but it’s my earliest memory of you. We had just met at Robert’s parents and were watching a slide show that you guys brought. There was a funny picture that Stan took of a row of tall bushes, like a hedge and your head sticking out in the middle. It was just a funny picture and I think of it as what you guys did in your “pre kid days” for fun on on a Friday night!

Three words.
Going away party.

Three more words.
Awesome photo album.

And just three more.
(and Tami, the other cohostess of said party.)

One of my favorite memories with you, and the time I realized you are the perfect balance to my habit of taking life too seriously (in the unimportant areas), is when Rainbow got dog poo from my yard on her feet then climbed in your lap and it got all over you! And you laughed and laughed and laughed instead of getting all freaked out (which is what I would have done)! Then you wore a pair of my too huge pants around the reat of the night. You’re the best!

It has to be our version of a music video for “The Joker”. We put your mom’s eyeliner on our faces for scruff, put some root beer bottles in paper sacks, set the table and started playing cards and of course sang…seriously, we had fun. I totally want to see all those old videos we made…I think Chris/I would be embarrassed!

and remember BCF (best cousins forever πŸ™‚ at the bottom of all our letters…letters, man we’re old!

Another one! Is this cheating? Well, no one report me to the blogging police and I’ll be okay.

Bookclub! May heaven pour blessings out on your head forever for always coming over on bookclub night.

Which reminds me… Who was the author of those funny mysteries you love? I know I’ve asked you a dozen times already… Maybe if it’s here in cyberspace I’ll remember better.

Oh Wendy, where in the world do I start? Going over to Mrs. Hyde’s house and making creations out of her heart-shaped blossoms, covering our legs with bandaids, music videos to Debbie Gibson – you were the only one who knew every single word by the way, I tried to make up for my lack of lyric-knowledge by clapping and twirling, and Angie, she got no Debbie Gibson game, sharing Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley Twins? or High? book sets, yet conveniently “storing” them at your house, our countless commercials and talk-shows, trying to keep up in Trivial Pursuit, and the most recent memory of a fabulous Easter egg hunt at your house with our kiddos. Oh, how time flies . . sunrise, sunset.

Love ya WANDA!

Dina–I know the exact photo of which you speak. You must have thought I was pretty psycho.

Alias–Your going away party WAS a good time. We should have had more parties without the going away. 😦 Also, I’m not sure which mysteries you’re talking about . . . I usually don’t read mysteries much. Maybe it was Susan–the Joanne Fluke ones? With recipes?

Tami–I still laugh every time I think about that dog incident. SO unexpected. Hil-arious.

Kathleen–Next time we get together, I’m bringing that video. It’s humiliatingly hilarious.

Niki–Remember Mitzi I and Mitzi II? I was telling my kids about it just the other night. And, yes, I do still have a soft spot for Debbie Gibson. Wake up to love!

This is Christi (Scrivner). Hi! My memory of you: when I moved to Rexburg you always let me eat lunch with you when I didn’t know anybody else/nobody else cared, even though I had no idea what to converse with you about. Thanks so much. πŸ™‚

Hi, Christi! I completely don’t remember the whole lunch thing, but I’m glad you do. Sorry we didn’t have much to converse about–I’m generally pretty intimidated by beautiful people, so I’m sure that had something to do with it. πŸ˜‰

You were so nice to leave a comment, and buy me a sparkley toothbrush! High school is such a crazy blur to me that I remember no details. But I do remember laughing with you and you being so nice to a lowly underclassman as myself.
