. . . in Rite-Aid.

Apparently, you can still buy banana clips.

In other news, I was sorely tempted to get this for my brother for Christmas. But I didn’t.

There’s a limit for gag gifts.

It’s $5.

I’ve always thought $6 was the limit. I might even go up to $10, if the gift was right–like piano gloves. Did you happen to read the comments section? Apparently, the gloves were wonderful enough for the commenter to thing about selling his piano. Now THAT’s a great gift.

They WERE on sale, but it was a hefty $24.99 (plus tax). Of course, that IS quite a bit less than a piano.

Jeez—I’m not proofreading, either. Or at least, my wife isn’t. I meant to say, “the gloves were wonderful enough for the commenter to THINK about selling his piano.”

My brother is notorious for only purchasing gifts labeled with “As Seen on TV”. He’s got my name this year so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for piano gloves.
